La traversée is
A non-profit organization that provides prevention, intervention, and postvention services and activities to the entire population of the Pierre-De-Saurel MRC. It is mandated to operate a suicide prevention intervention service via chat and text, “SUICIDE.CA,” for the entire province of Quebec.
Women, men, and youth can access these services, whether for themselves or for a loved one. Emergency shelter is also available to those over 18. We also provide support and training to stakeholders and professionals from various organizations in the Pierre-De-Saurel MRC.
Trainings
Awareness workshops, training courses approved by Emploi-Québec and conferences are offered to stakeholders wishing to acquire skills closely related to the issue of suicide.
